The Alan Boswell Group provides insurance broking services, risk management consultancy and independent financial advice through three trading divisions: Alan Boswell Insurance Brokers Limited and Alan Boswell & Company (both based in Norwich) and Alan Boswell Insurance Services (based in Attleborough, Norfolk).

Whilst the majority of our clients are businesses and individuals based in East Anglia, we have many insurance and investment clients located throughout the UK. We are probably best known nationally as the supplier of specialist landlord's insurance products to over 70 landlords' associations and landlord accreditation schemes throughout the UK. We also operate a number of highly successful business insurance affinity schemes for unions, franchise networks, buying groups and trade or professional associations.

Our latest developments have concentrated on the use of web-based administration systems to reduce handling costs and cut premiums. Our aim is to be the first choice of national organisations and industry bodies when it comes to putting together innovative and cost-effective insurance schemes for their members.

Our IFA division, Alan Boswell & Company, provides a full range of financial advisory services to individuals and businesses. Whether it's specialist investment advice, holistic financial planning or mortgages, we have qualified professionals with the required expertise. A number of our independent financial advisers joined us in 2002 when the financial planning division of leading law firm Evershed's merged with our financial services division. We have retained strong connections with the legal profession and many clients are introduced by lawyers, accountants and other business professionals looking for the highest quality of service for their clients.

We believe that our rapid organic growth and success in retaining existing business is testament to a philosophy of offering truly independent advice and efficient personal service. We don't make our customers pick menu options from automated telephone systems or keep them hanging on the phone in a queue. We have dedicated teams of professional advisers on hand so whether it's a routine policy adjustment or an urgent claims matter there is always someone familiar to help.

Our systems and procedures are reinforced by rigorous compliance and audit processes. Naturally, our trading companies are all authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. But beyond that, we are proud to be founder members of the Institute of Insurance Brokers, members of the British Insurance Brokers Association and sponsors of the National Skills Academy for Financial Services. In 2002 we reached the Investors in People standard and we have been ISO9000 accredited for general insurance business since 1995.
